My '67 with a 396 has an open element air cleaner. On the lid, the decals were very faded and worn, but you could plainly see three decals on there. 1) the crossed flags 396 2) the semi circle 396-325 horsepower around the rim 3) a rectangle shaped decal that I can't read, it's maybe 2 inches by 3 inches. Any guess what this third decal should be? Should this be the "keep your GM car GM" decal or is it something else?

I'M looking in theYEAR ONE catalog on page 597, and it shows an
"Air Cleaner Service Instruction decal part no. DC724- FOR 67 6cyl
DC435 for 67-68 327
DC710 for 67 35O
DC671 for 67 396
They also show the"Keep Your Car All GM part no DC635 hope this clears things up. The phone is

Thanks for looking that up. I will see if I can get ahold of the catalogue and figure out which of the two should go on there. The air cleaner is pretty obvious at a show if you mess it up!

I looked around for a couple minutes and the keep it G.M. sticker should be on the outer edge of the base (around the side) Good luck


Should be DC 52 for 325 hp 396 or DC885 for 375 hp 396
