Im putting a t56 into my 69 auto and the new brake/clutch pedals sit too high
for me. In the Ricks catalog they list 2 brake switches manual
and p/s brake. Is one longer than the other with more threads?
In order for my brake pedal to hit switch I have to have the pedal very
high off the floor. I could make a bracket to put the switch closer to the pedal if I had to , but thought maybe the manual brake switch
has more threads and is longer . I also have both the rubber stop bumpers
installed to limit return travel on the pedals. Thanks

Do you have power brakes, and if so do you have the striker that goes on the brake pedal on PB cars to contact the switch? Ricks lists it and shows a picture as part # PT-83. On power brake cars, the pedal should not go all the way to the rubber bumper.

Clutch pedal height is not really adjustable. You can search "pedal height" on here and you'll see it gets discussed a lot.

The striker (PT-83) goes in the top brake pedal hole, and it effectively adds 1/2 inch or so to the back of the brake pedal at the switch, so it lowers it closer to the floor by a little more.
