I'm trying to put together a 350/300 hp engine. I want to stay original. It is a 69 PC. Can the dings and small dents in Valve Covers and Oil Pan be repaired and if so how? Or is it easier and more cost effective to search for replacements? Thank You for the help. Jim

i believe milodon makes a gold iriadte coated "stock replacement" oil pan worth looking into for $60.
summit sells one too for like $30.

Jim, dings in the pan and covers are easy to tap out as long as they did not crease the metal. Any creases could develop a oil weep, especially for the pan. No one makes a 69 Camaro correct looking oil pan or standard valve cover, so if you want the pure look, repair yours or get used.

I repaired mine and they came out pretty nice.
