I have a 1969 camaro that had drum brakes I am now installing front single piston disk brakes , do I use the round proportion vale by the master cylinder and the brass valve that is mounted on frame under the door this going to be power brakes thanks ken

Ken, The round valve is a metering valve. The proportioning valve was mounted on the left side frame rail. If you are going with an original setup you need both of these. Some use an adjustable proportioning valve. If you are going with an aftermarket setup a combination valve would be supplied if you buy a kit.
