i was wondering if 67 and 68-69 camaro have different rear shock mounts? or lengths or what? I was wondering what is different about them.

reason being is that i saw a set of QA1 adjustable rear shocks were only for 68-69?? is it because the shock mounts are different?

thanks

I believe the difference is due to (most) 67 having a monoleaf & 68/9 are multi leaf, just what I've heard/researched.

67 Camaros have the shocks mounted the same direction and 68-69 have them staggered. They did this to try and control wheelhop a little better. Not sure if they are a different length though

The '67 has non-staggered shocks, it also has mono-leaf and a lot of '68 and '69 are mono too... Multi shocks have a stud pressed into the lower shock mount eye and the mono's have an open eye and use a bolt.

There are different shock mount plates for the '67 non-staggered, the '68/'69 mono's and the '68/'69 multi's...
