I just finished an engine swap on my 68 RS (LS1) and for those of you who have done them know that you have to install a smaller break booster. I also installed new front calipers while I was at it, the problem Im having is, I cant get the break light switch adjusted quite right. Its kinda weird, the break peddle doesent always return to the same point sometimes, thus not contacting the switch. Somtimes the peddle doesent return far enough and the breaks will drag and get hot, and I have to lift it (the peddle) to stop the dragging. I installed the new booster at the same angle as the original and the linkage is attached to the lower hole. I tried to change the linkage to the upper hole, but it seemed there was to much downward angle on the booster to let that happen. The break peddle swings free and is not binding, Im about to the point of putting a freakin return spring an the darn thing.
Thanks for your help
