I was a bit tied up yesterday, too many fires to put out at work. But I did get the car down to the muffler shop, so it should be be a bit more acceptable to the constables now.

This has been a very long, and expensive, lesson in auto restoration. I learned to take the estimated cost, and quadruple it, and that might be close to the actual cost.

Now just need to get the top and interior done.

Well back to work, no rest for the wicked

I know there never was a 69 Conv Z28 from the factory, but this one is about as close as it gets. It has a 69 DZ302 with all the correct parts, with the exception of roller rockers, and lower compression pistons. It also has the 12 bolt rear, and heavy duty suspension. Also there is a Tremec 5 speed, instead of the rock crusher. So its not just a cheap clone/tribute car.
