I have a 67 327 with a performer rpm intake and the 1406 600cfm edelbrock carb. I just bought a calibration kit but i found it didnt have directions. SO i was wondering how do you change thejet rods and all that stuff?

If you purchased your carb, it should have come with a manual that tells you everything you need to know. If you cant find the manual, call edelbrock at 1-800-416-8628 and they will send you one for free, or send them an e-mail at www.edelbrock.com ...I called them and had a new manual in 3-4 days.

For the rods and springs there's 2 screws that take a 1/4" socket on the top. One on each side with a small plate under em. Loosen the screws, move the plate and take a needle nose pliers and remove the assembly. After that it's pretty self explanitory.

For the jets you will have to take the top of the carb off. It's simple. There are 8 screws that can be removed with a flathead screwdriver. Disconnect the accelerator pump rod on the front, driver side of the carb, and lift the top of the carb off. Do it slowly so gas doesn't go everywhere. You can look down onto the top now and see the front(primary) and back(seconday) jets. They can be removed with a screwdriver. Good luck.
