Here goes, 67 camaro convertible. Pull the light switch out so parking lights work and left blinker indicator light comes on on dash and remains lit. Left brake light works but right doesn't yet all parking lights work and the left front signal lights works if I move the lever up and down to simulate blinking but no others work. If I pull the light switch all the way out the left turn signal light on the dash that's lit in park goes out and the front parking lights go out and the left front blinker will not work even when I simulate blink. I've tried changing/swapping the rear bulbs w/o any luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Parking lights don't stay on with the headlights on a 67.

Check the grounds.

Make shure no bulbs are in backwards.

Sometimes a bulb can burn out one filament and a piece of it will connect with the other filament. You then get a cross connection between turn signal and parking light.

Most likely a ground is it.

Sounds like it's definitely a ground problem. Check the grounds on the front turn signals/parking lights in the grill. I have found that the grounds here are touchy and cause the same problems you are having on my 67. And David's right...the parking lights on 67s go out when the headlights are turned on. Starting in 68 they stayed on with the headlights.

my brother stuck a two way bulb in a one way socket and all the lights would blink- even the license plate lights... hehehe

have you replaced the blinker flashers??

if so, then sockets might be bad or have bad ground

Well it was grounds as well as a bad wire from the steering to the right turn/brake. At sometime there must have been trouble with the dark green wire so it was spliced 4 times. Can you believe it. Anyway I ran a new wire from the front to rear. NAPA carries the correct replacement contact for the wiring harness. Now the alt/gen light stays on although sometimes the light doesn't come right away. Any ideas why anyone? All grounds are GOOD. This electrical stuff is driving me crazy!

Just thought I'd let you know it was grounds and the gen light stayed on because external voltage regulator was bad. Just want to say thanks to all for the help. Now onto the interior.
