Hi, I have two questions. Hopefully I posted this in the right spot!

1. I am converting to manual steering from power. I have obtained a gearbox and manual pitman arm but my question is about the drag link. I have been told by some that the stud size on pitman arm for power is larger and I would need a drag link off a manual steering car for my conversion. A couple of the big camaro parts suppliers said the drag link is the same for either application. Who is right?

2. I am switching to a big block from small block. Can I use small block frame stands with taller solid motor mounts or do I need the big block frame stands. I have heard both ways.

Thanks,

Pretty sure the drag links are the same,

You can physically install the BB with the SB framestands, however, BB frame stands offset the motor to the passenger side by about an inch. If you use SB stands you'll have trouble with header fitment, and valve cover clearance if you have a big power brake booster.
