I have a 68 camaro with enigine # T0303GF in it. As far as I can find out this is a 283cid
This size motor is not listed in any camaro applications. Where did this engine come from originaly and what is it??

What is the block casting #? Is it 3862194,or 3896944. If it is one of these It could be a 67 283/195 hp W/ powerglide. It was assembled in Tonawanda, NY, on March 3.It should have a date code on the block also. it could be located behind the right side cylinder head and look something like A227.
