New to the decoding process....I have not written down the numbers off the back of the block yet, maybe later today I can get them...but the ones on the pad at the front passenger side read as follows: VO6I2ME Does that make sense, and what does that tell me? This is on my '67 Camaro. John

That looks to be a 327/210 pg engine for a camaro assembled on June 12. The casting number will tell if it is a 67 or 68. What is the build date of your car. It could be original to the car.

OK, where would it be listed on the cowl tag....I dont see anything that I would determine to be a build date. I can see paint code, trim, etc...but there are a bunch of other numbers along the bottom also.

Top left hand corner above the ST. It should be 05d or 10c etc.
