I need to have the exhaust fully ran on my 68. I currently have hooker long tube headers with purple hornie glass packs as temporary mufflers. The original owners planned on putting a big block in the car so they installed big block springs in the front. Well I installed a small block so it sits really high in front. I plan on installing the Hotchkis TVS kit which lowers the front 2" and the rear 1.5". My question is if I have the exhaust ran now with the current big block springs, when I lower it with the Hotchkis 2" lowering springs is that going to cause any clearance problems? Or should it not matter? I am thinking the front will probably drop about 3" going from a big block spring to 2" small block lowering spring?

lowering the front won't change how the exhaust clears the sub-frame, etc. as long as the headers don't hang down too low. You might want to check that out before you lower it.
