I have researched the vin # as well as the trim plate and am not able to determine weather my 67 came with factory ac. I think it did but how do I find out for sure? Thanks again.

On trim tag you should have an "E" under options listed in field 2 (ie: 2EM)

Look to see if it is hooked up properly - there are BIG differences in the interior - kick panels are different (solid - no manual air vent) - air vent above Heat / Air controls on center of dash panel - Lot's and Lot's of duct work under the dash -

Could look at wiring harness and see if it is original or spliced together

Bigger radiator (23" vs 21")and fan cover

Those are things that come to mind....

All 67's with air had the dash vents, left, right, center, non-air cars did not.

heater box will be big on AC, small on non AC heater hoses on no AC are easy to get to they are to the right of blower motor, on AC they are on the left and go behind the inner fender whitch is a bitch. there shuold be a vacuum canister on the passengers side under the cowl vent it,s about 4" round and 2" high looks like a "space ship" this opens and closes air from entering. hope this helps. this is the way my 67 with factory AC is.
