I have, what I believe, and what sounds like the single Flowmaster muffler tucked up between the backseat and gas tank. As it is positioned, I have 2 very small holes on the bottom (along the radius edge)at each end that appear to be moisture drain holes. Were these put in at the factory or do you think the previous owner put them in to prevent premature rusting? Around the outside edge of the holes there is always a little corrosion/oxidation which is probably better than leaving all that moisture in the can. Just curious.

Thanks,

R. Stacho

Every cross flow muffler I ever installed, including oem, had those holes. Without them the muffler would rot very quickly.
