I have removed my air controls and the heater core (non-AC car), and converted the dash's fresh air vents to speaker mounts. I've also changed the kick panel fresh air vents to a sealed 6.5" speaker enclosure. Remaining behind the dash are the openings for fresh air vents. I imagine these would just be passively blowing hot air and dust behind my dash if left open? Is there any benefit (stopping dust/hot air) or harm (messing with interior cabin pressure/vacuum) in closing these with covers?

I'd say cover them. They are normally covered when an aftermarket HVAC system is installed anyway. It would be a bit chilly on a cold day if they were open.

I'd like to see photos of the dash speakers. Seems like a good idea. Tweeters?
