Hello all! I am on the downhill side of finishing my 69 SS that I bought while I was in college. Its a 350 with an M-21, 12 bolt posi, pw,ps,pdb, factory air (which is being swaped for a Vintage Air system as we speak) and a fold down rear seat. Got both black plates and the Crown Chevrolet license plate frame- I believe it was orignially purchased there. I have owned it for over 20 years and been offered some great trades, but just couldn't do it. Anyway, I am glad to have found this forum and welcome any Sac area folks to get in touch and swap stories.

Marc

I forgot to mention that after the Camaro is finished, I am then on to my pro street 55 half ton chevy truck. I have owned this truck for almost 30 years and see no reason not to make it ridiculously fast. Soon after that, comes my 1964 Impala SS that my grandpa bought new in Pomona, CA. I still have the original bill of sale!!

Glad to see Sacto area well represented! It would be really cool to get together. (Is there a club you all belong to?) If not, maybe.....?

Hey Marc, I'm another El Dorado Hills guy, and I recently met another friend who is on the Team Camaro site and lives in Elk Grove.

I belong to the Camaro Generations Club in Sacramento (http://www.camarogenerations.com/index.htm). They have many of their meetings at Maita Chevrolet in Elk Grove, so it sounds right up your alley. Membership in their club also gets you 10% off parts at Super Muscle Parts in Rancho Cordova (http://www.supermuscleparts.com/).

Welcome to Team Camaro!

+1

I've been to a few of their meetings. Seems like a great bunch of guys. I haven't been in a few months though cuz I feel funny pulling up in my 07 Mustang CS/GT! Maybe next time I should borrow my wife's G6 since it's a GM product??

Cool deal. I am trying like hell to get this car done, but sometimes I need another set of hands- and the wife just doesn't cut it! Its killing me not to be able to drive it. My other issue is wheels. It currently has a set of 16" centerlines that are fine, but I really am looking towards a set of 18" IROCS. TTII are great and all, but I want something a little different. (Don't we all!?)
