I am reinstalling my front bumper but I think I may be missing something.

I have the two corner brackets, two middle brackets that mount to the frame and a bolt/washer set. I'm doing this without a schematic and I didn't remove the bumper originally.

My question is: I'm looking at the corner bracket between the fender/lower extension and I don't see how the bumper mounts. The hole in the corner bracket has a bigger circumference than the washers. Can someone please explain why that is or post a picture of it's function?

The corner bracket hardware includes an upper and lower bushing set, they fit together kinda like the subframe bushings do. The od of the bushing set is big like the hole in the corner bracket, but the ID is 3/8" like the bolt.

I imagine they did it that was so a minor scuff on the corner of the bumper didn't take out the whole fender.

That makes sense now. Thanks. I just ordered a set. That also answered my other question about where the two long bolts go. lol
