Ok, engine is out for a rebuild, and in the meantime I have ordered POR-15 to paint the chassis, radiotor support and just about everything else in reach under the hood. While doing this, I am going to replace the bushing on the front end. Which would you reccommend? Should I use a Poly rebuild kit out of Sumitt (dont these have a bad problem with squeeking), Del-A-Lum bushing or what other kind. I was going to go Poly with the sub-frame ones because I do not want THAT harsh of a ride. I thought about the Del-A-Lum for the A-arm (upper & lower) but what for the rest???

Speedball...I bought the 'front end rebuild kit' from www.performancesuspension.com for $260. It comes with Upper & Lower Ball Joints, Inner & Outer Tie Rod Ends, A new Idler Arm, Graphite Impregnated Polyurethane Upper & Lower Control Arm Bushings, Sway Bar Bushing Kit with Brackets (they will remove this, however, if you buy the Helwig sway bar, thus lowering the cost of the kit some), End Link Bushings with Hardware, Polyurethane Tie Rod Boots, Polyurethane Ball Joint Boots, and Control Arm Bumpers. I made the decision to buy this kit specifically because they include the Energy Suspension Graphite Impregnated Polyuretane Bushings of which I got a ton of testimonials on this site about. They do not bind under load or squeak. Also, not sure what upgrades you are doing but, if you buy the 'front end rebuild kit' you are eligible to buy a pair of Hotchkis springs for $99 and a Helwig front sway bar for $109. I couldn't pass it up. It's an awesome deal. So far it's the best purchase I've made thus far. Go check em out. The kit is listed under 'Muscle Cars'.

I went with Energy Suspension Back components
Energy Suspension Body Bushings - Part Number 3.4142B
Energy Suspension Control Arm Bushings - Part Number 3.3101B
Energy Suspension Control Arm Bumpers - Part Number 9.9154B

They do make Sway Bar bushings but I went with a Hellwig 1 1/8" which came with its own brackets and poly bushings.

The 3 kits above only run about $120-$140 total from Summit, thats all your body bushings (and new hardware!), control arm bushings, and lower bumpers.
