I was off today and decided to go to the barn and crank some of the cars. I got them all running, without a problem.....Except for my 85 monte carlo. It spins over fine, and is firing. If you leave the key on for a bit it will crank but will go dead after a few minutes. It has the stock fuel pump in it. I know it is pumping a little because i have a clear filter on it. My question is can a fuel just barely work. It pumps a little but just barely flows. Is it possible for the pump to barely pump, or have somthing blocking the fuel lines.

Yes they can barely pump. Try using a metal oil squirt can and shoot some gas into it and see what happens. I would change the fuel filters and then check the fuel pressure. If it is low or non-existent then the pump could be shot or the sock in the tank could be plugged. If the tank is very low on fuel you might fill it up and add a can or two of Sea Foam and see if that loosens things up. Does your engine oil smell like gas? If so, you need a pump.
