i just got done with my swap (2.8 to 406 carb) and i went to start it and the fuel pump wont pump what the f#[email protected] is going on? Is it because the ECM is no longer hooked up? Is there anyway to make this work?

It's on a 88 camaro with a intank fuel pump.

Probably so. You can power the pump thru a relay that is actuated by a switched power source. The switched source should be "ON" with the key in start AND run positions.

A question comes to mind, What is the pressure out of the 2.8 fuel pump. A carb needle seat can only control somewhere around 6PSI max. Isn't the 2.8 pressure higher than that?
