My blinkers used to work fine.
One day I washed the car, and all of a sudden, my turn sigs stopped working. So I pulled the fuse out and noticed it was dead. Now ever since that day, no matter how long I go without ashing the car, Every fuse I put in it to fix the blinker just pops and blows out over and over again. What can I do?

Take a look at all your lenses for cracks that allow moisture in, and replace any that are cracked.

Then look at the bulb sockets for intense corrosion, and replace any that are corroded.

I will check that as well, but I think its probably a short in the wire somewhere...
Thanks

Yes, it's a short. I'm saying that even though the washing thing may have been a coincidence, it's probably related to that, hence looking for ways that moisture would have caused the short.

Let us know what you find.

Do the emergency flashers work? If they do then then the short not in your parking lamp sockets.

I had a short in my blinker flasher module, the aluminum can got a dent in it from the spring holder, and the contact arm actually touched the side of the can.
There are two flasher modules in the car, one up under the center of the dash for blinkers and one in the fuse panel for emergency flashers.

All brake lights work. Reverese lights are fine. Emergency flashers are fine. The only lights not working are the blinkers, and every fuse I put in the blinker slot under dashboards blows out *** soon as I turn the key.

Then the short has to be between the Fuse panel and the blinker switch in the column (if the blinker switch isn't on when you turn the key). Mine at least had to use the blinker before the fuse would blow.
