i have a 97 camaro and im having problems with the guages.none of them work but the alt gauge.they are hooked up and i checked the fuse.i read the book it said the voltage regulator for the gauges(not the alt regulator)could be bad.but it doesnt say where it is or what it looks like.can anyone help.

in a 97 camaro the voltage regulator is inside the alternater

wrong one.they say there is a seperate one for the guages

see if you can plug into the car with a scantool and get a data stream...i believe all of your guage data will come through the ecu...if you get the datastream through the scanner, then look for bad grounds to the dash...
