I pulled the engine and trans from my '69 and found this bubba 'repair' job on the trans. This pin is suppose to be a press fit and will need to be properly bushed. Glad I had already decided to replace it with an M21 I have in storage. Jeez.
The half dozen I've seen in the last 5-8 years in just friends cars,(when they pulled them to replace with a TKO/56)
are all jacked in someway in an attempt to "Jury Rig" a leaky countershaft. Most were dimpled. My M20 was smeared with some type of sealer. Sold it two weeks after I got the car.
