I got all our parts in from places like federal mogul etc and got the engine to the short block stage with bearings, pistons, rods, mains caps, crank, etc all installed. Happy to see that the crank turns smoothly with no restrictions too! But just out of my curiousity, i wanted to ask all u guys somethin. We have new forged alluminum pistons on our original rods and accidently switched the #5 rod and piston with the #7 rod and piston (every rod still has its correct rod cap with it)...and our engine guy said it didnt matter, and i dont secondguess him, but i just wanted to make sure with all u guys. thanks a ton!
