Well it finally breathed fire today after alot of initial work on her. I removed the starter and went through it. Installed a good charged battery. WD40 the combustion chambers the day I got it home to make things free up after turning it over by hand. Worked with the points for 2 days and finally had to give up on em. Dropped a HEI in and got some good spark while turning with the plugs out. i pulled the fuel line off at the filter and ran a hose to a bucket so while it is running I can get the old fuel out while I added good fuel in the holley float bowl. I had to do some wiring repairs for the HEI to work correctly for the time being. I bout freaked when it fired up and would actually hold a idle after I played with the timing. SOME days things actually go right.
