When I press on the brakes or turn on the headlights the radio turns off and then comes back on. I'm sure is has to be a ground problem but where should I look first. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
My first look would be the ground strap tag end, that runs from the Neg battery clamp to the side of the fender. Then check ground straps from block to cowl panel. There can also be some from frame to cowl under the heater box. Also check the brake switch connector itself for loose fitting, and check radio bolts and connectors for tightness. So many places but you are probably on the right track for a ground issue.
