I am looking for the part number for the balancer and for the crankshaft pulley for a 1969 350/300 HP. Did the 302 use the same parts?

What would the correct parts be for a 1970 350/350 LT1 (forged crank)?

Thanks,

If you were going to order on from a GM dealership the latest part number I have for the 8" balancer is 6272222, which was superceded by 3947704. I bought one about 4 years ago and my cost was $65.

The correct crank pulley depends on options on your car

3956664 - no p/s or a/c
3956666 - with p/s
3932428 - with p/s and a/c

Well, the P&A 34 lists four balancers for small blocks in 1969:

Group 0.659
69 Camaro (302) - 3947708
69 ALL w/2/BC (350,327) - 3947701
69 ALL w/4/BC (350) 3947704
69 ALL (307) - 3947706

Just what the diameters are, the book doesn't say.

The 350/300 hp used an 8 inch balancer. The new GM part number is 6272222.

I am sure all those part numbers above now have new numbers.

69 Camaro (302) - 3947708 was an 8" balancer
69 ALL w/2/BC (350,327) - 3947701 was changed to 6272221 and is a 6 3/4" diameter balancer
69 ALL w/4/BC (350) 3947704 was changed to 6272222 and is a 8" diameter balancer
69 ALL (307) - 3947706 was changed to 6272223

1970 LT1 - 6272224 - 8" balancer
