I'm thinking of replacing my special hi-perf monster 307 engine with the original block/heads. I read all about those "famous" 010" blocks but mine is a 014 block. One person in SoCal just told me that this is a special hi performance block with a higher nickel content than the 010's, & if it's dated before 1972, it's as rare as hen's teeth.
I did a search and all 014 blocks seem to be 4 bolt mains, as is mine.
Does anyone know anything about these blocks? I'd like to restore it and return it in my car. Any help appreciated.

Came from nastyz28's site... 1970-73 3970014 350 200/300hp 2 or 4 LA built Camaros

Mortec says...3970014....350...70-76...2 or 4
