Could use a little help identifying these heads please. I beleave the casting to be 3927188 or 3927186, 202 valves and double small humps, thanks!

Sean, Per your description I believe they are the 186's. They should have accessory mounting
holes. Possibly from a 69 Z28 302.

SBC heads have or don't have bolt holes on the ends as well as a pattern cast into the ends that helps to ID them. Then there are the casting numbers that ID the heads. Why not search on the casting number?

I have done lots of research. The problem is that the casting numbers are somewhat difficult to read, 186 or 188? I don’t beleave the 188 heads from a 307 had 2.02’s or double humps. If I can figure out how to upgrade my membership I will post the pic’s. Thanks for the reply’s!

Sean, Here's a thread from a Corvette forum showing the casting number. Post #6.
It can be difficult deciphering "8" or "6". If your heads have 2.02 valves and are camel
hump they are 186's.
