Not the first time AAW swapped a couple wires. I just participated in a thread where they swapped out the high and low beam leads... One of my harnesses was defective. They are a great company, though!
Did you try using a volt meter or test light on the wires to see when they had voltage? Do you have a RS headlight wiring diagram?
The wires that go to the headlight motors are probably swapped (maybe).
The motors are driven by polarity reversing inputs in order to open and then close the doors. Swapping the motor leads would be the easiest way of getting the results you are seeking, but the actual problem may lie elsewhere; like the relay or limit switch wiring.
I'd trace the wiring with the '67 headlight door wiring diagram to determine the exact cause. Use the excellent www.retro-electro.net website for a nice problem determination guide and wiring diagram.
