I am currently in the middle of rewiring my 67 camaro. I am waiting on the Painless Performance RS wiring kit to arrive for my headlights, but I have already installed the standard Painless Performance 18 circuit wiring kit. When I went to start my car, everything seems to work alright, except my headlights will not go out. Turning off the switch or pulling the fuse does not turn them off. I have to disconnect the battery. According to the kit, it is a straight shot from my fuse panel to the headlights. If someone has any idea what's going on, I would appreciate the help.

There is obvious direct connection to the battery and should not be that way. I'm not sure of those 18 circuit fuse boxes. Did you get a wiring diagram with the kit?

They gave a schematic with the kit and it just shows the wires going straight to the fuse box. I have emailed the tech reps at Painless Performance and I am waiting to see what they have to say.
