Heartbeat City freight shipping time - does it take over a month to get parts?

Every time I call they say it's shipping next week. Is freight supposed to be like this? I ordered a complete front clip.

I’m going to guess they don’t have all the parts.

This is from their site. They use FedEx and my experience with FedEx lately has been strange. Have you called Heartbeat and ask what the problem is? Did you use the tracking number that is usually on the order shipping confirmation?

It hasn't shipped. They claim they have one guy that takes care of freight shipments. That's why it hasn't shipped.

You are probably right. If they don't ship next week, I'll have them refund the charges.

I would do it tomorrow. They obviously don’t care enough to update you if you call.
I sent two inquiries. If I don't get an answer tomorrow, I'll have the charges reversed, and I'm done.
I have an order in with HBC for some interior parts, their website said they had them when I ordered them, but only a partial of my order shipped. Several weeks later, I am waiting on a few large pieces.
I will say their email replies suck, basically zero communication via email about my backorders. I even placed another small order online, and in the special instructions mentioned my backorder, nothing.
I have called twice, they do answer the phone, but are busy. Every time I call I get the same story. I plan on calling them tomorrow also.

I have done a lot of transactions with HBC and all have been fantastic, except this one. I work in somewhat of a distribution business, so I do understand the challenges they have. There is a real supply chain issue in this country right now, it has been going on for over two years. (I can go on and on about this...) HBC's communication could be much better on backorders or delays, that is a fact. All in all, I am very satisfied with HBC. Very satisfied with Camaro Central, Classic Industries, NPD, and several others too (Summit gets two big thumbs up).

The owner of HBC is active on FaceBook, and he will accept your friend request. I don't post on FB, and am not in to airing anything out online, just not my style. If it gets too much more ugly, I may shoot him a private message on FB.

I have had zero issues with HBC and its crew. One time I ordered something, and it turned up the count in inventory was off. They actually called me and asked if I was willing to wait or take a refund. I decided to wait since they took the time to call me on the phone. When it was shipped an e mail was sent stating it had been shipped that day.
Make sure they have the right communication method for you and that should alleviate any issues.
If you feel like you are getting the run around, ask for James Stubbings the owner.

They got back to me this morning. Parts will ship today. Because they are using an alternate shipper (Estes), there were delays. If it got shipped FedEx it would have cost more.

I called them this morning also, and they have 2 of the three items I am waiting on, and will ship them asap.

Waiting on my front seat foams (USA)... bummer.

Like I posted above, I have zero problem dealing with HBC. Just have to understand they aint Amazon, these are special items, we are the 1% buying them.

You should NEVER have to chase down your parts.

I have experienced the "partial" shipment even though the website said "in stock" once. On the shipment of the front clip, are you paying shipping or are they and, if you, did you pay for shipping in advance? Something as large as a front clip will require "freight shipment". That means they will likely have to shop an LTL service (Less Than Truckload) that costs what you or they are paying and that can sometimes be the delay. It may also mean that is probably why it is shipping via Estes instead of FedEX Freight. Estes is pretty good but you can sometimes experience delays in transit with any LTL as the shipment gets handed off from one truck to another at cross-dock operations. Get the tracking number and talk directly to Estes. Estes may need to work with you on the delivery arrangements. That is, depending upon if it is heavy on a pallet, they may need to deliver with a lift truck if you don't have a forklift.

They are about to lose my business. Sent me wrong parts. Starting to give me excuses.
They pulled though for me, I got my backorders.

No doubt there email replies need help, from now on I will call on the phone.

I give Kudos to NPD too, their inventory has been amazing for me... always have the part I need. There is an NPD semi-local to me, when I am out that way sometimes I will use them even though their prices are not the best, but I have always received high quality parts from manufacturers like Eaton, Legendary and Trim Parts.
I was told a standard fender was on backorder, so they can send me an RS fender, and the only thing I have to do is bend one bracket out of the way. Wrong. Now they are telling me to buy a bracket and then pay someone to weld it on. Problem is, the bracket is to convert a standard fender to RS. I don't have an RS. Plus, it's not my mistake. I'll have the credit card charges reversed tomorrow with emails and photos, so there is no way they are getting out of this.

Ummmm yea....I'll wait for the update..
