Heartbeat City freight shipping time - does it take over a month to get parts?

Every time I call they say it's shipping next week. Is freight supposed to be like this? I ordered a complete front clip.

Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Seems I squeaked enough to get some results. Should work out now. What a hassle.
I guess I've been pretty lucky with all these vendors, Heartbeat City included. I've gotten most all my stuff in a timely manner. One exception was with CJ Pony parts on a heater core that ended up back ordered for the mustang, however THEY called me and kept me updated. The other time was a issue with Classic Chevy parts. The price of the pickup hood was great but I couldn't get my head around the $400 shipping charge. SO ......I drove to Kansas City, picked it up and got to see their really cool showroom. I thought that was worth the trip. I will do that again when I buy all the replacement panels for this Camaro.
Just when I thought they were going to straighten this out, complete silence. I had to call my credit union to have a dispute started and the charges reversed. I'm guessing they will all-of-a sudden get interested in meeting their end of the transaction. I also received a damaged part and a seal kit missing a seal, and let them know. Seems they don't care. I will never do business with them again.

See post 6, 12, and 20.
next time try Matt & Kim at MCBParts.com
I Agree.

I had a custom suspension order with them, including a narrowed rear end, that had to do with two different manufacturers on the one order (Speedtech and Dutchman). Kim coordinated it all, and called me with any additional info she needed to get the order verified correct.

And they pretty much have all the same OEM repop stuff HCity gets, only with excellent customer service.

But,
I'll ad, the only issue I've had with HCity is the shipping cost/time.

Kim is Great at keeping the communication up to date.
I feel so sorry for you Camaro boys. I own a Firebird. I do business with Ames Performance.

Their marketing strategy is very different from the other vendors. They actually rate the products they sell. The highest is excellent 😀, good , marginal quality 😬, use as a last resort . It is interesting, they go into detail about why their product is not exactly like an original. "The gloss is not as shiny as an original." "Be prepared to spend time to make the panel fit."

I bought a shiny aluminum panel that had a dent in it. I called those New Hampshire people up, they wanted to ship the replacement next day air. I told them to ship in ground and save their money. I was not in any hurry.

On one of my orders, they did not ship a part, but it was on the invoice, The invoice said that they did ship it. I called them up. They told me the part should be in the box with the carpet. Adam asked me if I got the box. I told him that I have not opened that box. I opened the box. Sure enough, there it was. I had to make an apology for wasting his time. I received maybe six boxes in that shipment. They documented which part was in what box.

Probably this story is the best:
