I have an '88 with a 2.8L V6, with multi-port fuel injection. Whenever I stop hard, the car stalls out. If I try to start it right away, the engine will turn over, but it doesn't start. When I leave it sitting for a couple of minutes, it starts right up again. It is not a temp problem, because it starts cold or hot, no problem, usually on the first try. Other than this the car runs very well. If any one has any ideas or has had a similar problem, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Just a guess but I would look at the possiblilty of a fuel problem. Maybe when you brake hard and your foot is off the pedal your losing fuel pressure somewhere. Like I said it just a guess but usually when you stall its either a loss of spark or lose of fuel. Maybe someone else can elaborate on my theory.
