trying to determine what this engine is.
has a number stamped into the machined flange on the pass. side of the block protuding from under the front edge of the head.
stamping number # K09 03 TBA
any help would be appreciated.

Could be anyone of these:

1956 TBA 265ci a/t 2BBL truck/3600
1970 TBA 350 convfwd cabs, t350 - 215HP 2BBL C-10, 20, 30
1971 TBA 350 convfwd cabs, a/t - 255 HP 4BBL C-10 to 3500
1979 TBA 350 convcab, mlt, fed L LS9 165HP 4BBL C-10 & 1500

Need to get the casting date to see what year it was made.

It was cast, machined, and assembled at McKinnon Industries in Canada (now the St. Catherines Engine Plant); most likely originally installed in a truck built at the Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant.
