It would only have value to the owner of the Vette (probably long gone) or maybe a guy looking for period correct for a Vette which would be a long shot, so I see it as just another rebuildable core. Being a 2 bolt block I personally would not spend the money to rebuild it unless you want to use it in your car.
You might be able to sell as is for $1000- $1500.
