I recently installed a header back exhaust on my 69 with a stock 350/350. I also installed an MSD box and distributor, Edelbrock air gap intake with an Edelbrock 750 performer carb, and a comp cam.
The car runs great at high RPM but when I punch it at low RPM it hesitates and almost stalls.
If I slowly bring the cars RPM's up then punch it around 3,000 RPM it will take off.

I tried replacing the MSD distributor springs with lighter ones but it did not help my problem.

I think the problme is in my carb. It needs adjustment but I am not too experienced with carburetion. Any help or ideas out there?

Does this sound like too much fuel or too little at low RPM?

Could be too much fuel. One way to find out is move the rod for the pump so it has less travel (the Carb book has this info) and squirts less.

Then go for a drive and see. Some may have other ideas but this is what I would try first.
