Hey guys. New to this site, but am learning a bit about the camaros!

Just purchased a '69 z/28 off of eBay and it's just a rolling chassis. . .i need to find a motor and a transmission. . .many people here know about the first generation Z's?

Plenty of people know about Zs here. Got any pictures of the car? Guys are going to be asking for pictures of the trim tag, too. Don't be alarmed, but Z/28s are the most cloned/faked car out there. Hope you didn't get one!

No it's not a fake, at least I don't think that it is!

The trim tag under the hood has not been tinkered with. The rivets are still in tact. .

It has no power steering.
It has 4 leaf springs on each side of the back.
It has the power brake logo on the brake pedal.
It has the clock between the tach and speedo.

It was garnet red, standard black interior, x33 special performance z/28 package, Norwood, Ohio car.

Also a manual car (doesn't have a tranny though) and a 12-bolt rear-end.

I have the numbers on the trim tag, the VIN, and the casting # on the rear-end.

Welcome to TC Wayne. Great car to have, good luck with your hunt for a 302.
I have 2 69 Z's one pre X code and one X77 and neither has the original motor and they are hard to find. :beers:
