Hi everyone, I just wanted to give you an update on our '68 Z28 RS Camaro MO British Green...Chris has packed the 302 up and put some Dart Heads on it. Had them ported really good, which cost a arm and your 1st born. Put a crower cam in it. A MSD Starter and Box w/ rev. and a few other things. Pulled out the carb 4346 and rebuilt, of course the Trick kit from holley was 140.00 and came with 6.5 Power Valves so I had to call them and talk them into sending 2- 8.5 Power valves. There tech's are not really helpful. Anyhow, it took 3 hands to put on those little nylon bushings on the throttle plate. It's almost done and plan to start it this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Yeah, we were having a problem with cork valve cover gaskets and then I remembered I worked at Best buy Gaskets for 8 years. So went and got the newest ones silcone gaskets. Talk to you later....Dianna My newest car got a good deal from a friend Joe.

Thanks Everett, We plan to start it somtime this weekend down here in san diego. How much do you know about the Holley Carb. list 4346. I read alot and I know it's for a 69 Z28 396, 427 & 302. Chris rebuilt the carb. It's been wrapped up for 15 yrs. and we got a Trick kit from Holley ..then the Power valves were 6.5, so I had to call and get them to send 2- 8.5 Power valves. There kit sucks. But its almost done. but now chris has to go have a tooth pulled tomorrow. See my new car. I'm going to sell it for more than I paid as I don't like how hard it rides. Its nice,

Take the carb project one step at a time - tip - coat gaskets lightly with petro jelly as this action will make the next time alot easier.
Yes, rougher ride because of less sidewall in giving less cushioning .

Thanks for information.. I guess no one else has one. I just wonder now that our 68 Z28 Rs camaro 302 has Dart Heads , wondering if we should use the Holley List 4346 on it. Before we have Holey 4777-2 650 and it ran great, but packed that up and changed a few things on it for awhile. any suggestions on the Carb we might use? Thanks Diana

Well we started her up last night and she sounds real good and runs good but need to dial carb in alittle more. Idle is high. We took the Schneider Cam out, put a Crower cam in. Today we are going to take it out see how she runs. dianna Thanks for all the suggestions. Dianna
