Hi everybody,

I'm new to this site and this is my first posting so bear with me. I'm doing a power front disc brake conversion on my 67 using basically stock 69 parts. I'm concerned about how the brake pedal travel distance has decreased from the manual drum brake setup. I've been on David Pozzi's website (a fantastic resource!) and my pedal to floorboard distance of 3.75 inches matches what he posted on his site - with all due respect, it just doesn't seem like enough. Is it that you just need less travel with a power disc setup? Any help will be genuinely appreciated.

Power disc brakes feel very different from the drums you had, even sitting still. How much travel do you have untill you feel resistance on the pedal? Engine running

I don't have it all together. I just have the booster installed presently. I didn't want to bolt the master cylinder on until I was sure the booster/pedal travel was correct. Thanks for your reply. When I get it together I'll be able to answer your question.
