I have a holley 650 DP and I was surprised to see that there is no power valve in the rear. Maybe they dont put one on anything smaller than the 750? Well I was planning on buying a 750cfm proform main body for it and was curious if I should put the metering block off a 750 on it also that uses a power valve in the back? Also am I going to have to change the base plate to make it a 750cfm carb along with the main body or is the base plate the same on a 650 and 750?

650 700 750 DP all used the same baseplate.

I'd assemble it as Proform says to and use their supplied jets. The lack of a rear PV is made up for by jets that are roughly 10 sizes bigger.

Good luck!! I tried to install Holley HP main body using a 700 DP as the basis for it, and never really could get it right. Bad off idle stumble and rough idle in gear with the automatic, and I tried all of the tricks - squirters, cams, air bleeds, metering blocks etc. The HP body sits in a box.........
