I just found a GM holley carb , what I meen by that is , it is a factory carb that came on a GM car made by holley for GM , a 69 396 375 with an alluminum intake had a #4346 , this was also used on the 69 302 #4346 , the one I have now is a perfect match to a DZ 4346 but it has the following numbers - list# 4801 3989021 074 , I have never seen one with this # ?? I think I know what it is I think it is a over the counter replacement part sold at a GM parts counter , can anybody tell me for sure ?? thanks
If you go to the Holley site, http://www.holley.com, their listings will show all the tech specs for that carb, but not the usage. It wasn't used on a '69 302 - they used List #4053.
That carb was used in 1971 on either a Z28 or a Corvette. They were both 350/330HP S/T. It has been re-released by Holley for the restoration industry.
found out the carb is from a 71 Z/28 4spd , I have owned three 4346 carbs and two of them had DZ on them ?? john Z say's they used a 4053 , I had one of those also are you sure they did not use both ??
no matter I like this 4801 it will work great on something !!
