Technical gurus please help, I have a 1967 camaro (base) that I have added a NOS tachometer to. I looked through my factory assembly manual's wireing diagram to see how to wire in the tach...nothing there in diagram showing it. I do not have the console or gage pod. The "bulk-head" wiring connection that plugs into the plastic like circut board of the speedometer/tachometer is where I am assuming the needed wires will have to be added, and then run to the coil???

I also have just installed a factory tach in my 67. I did a search for past posts on the subject and this one seemed to help A LOT.

Unfortunately I think I have a bigger problem... possibly the circuit board (as I have it wired exactly as described and it isn't working at all).

Just to test to make sure it is the circuit board and not the tach itself I was going to test the tach outside of the housing.... There are three posts on the back of the tach in a triangular formation. I'm pretty confident that the one closest to the passenger side is the one that goes to the coil?!?! Not sure which of the remaining two (the one on the top of the tach and the other on the drivers side) is 12V + and which is ground. Anyone have a multimeter and a 67 factory tach they already have wired and working?
