Is it okay to wait a couple of months to wetsand my 69. The car will be painted this week and the "buffing guy" will not work on a car that is not running. He told me it would be okay to wait a while....BUT I always check here...

Ya you can wait, but its much harder to do once the clear has cured (and hardened).

The local guy who does all the show cars around here does an awesome job and I have not seen any burn through or swirls on any of his cars. He did say it wouldnt hurt and it gives all the paint and clear time for the gases to escape and everything to cure. Cant wait to post pics on the progress this week.....
