Set it up with a fuel solenoid and timing retard, make it less stress on parts.....I would say in the 125-150 hp range. But 20 nitrous runs each weekend, sooner or later it is going to break. The bottom end can take more hp of course, my concerns would be with the pistons, rings and head gaskets.

A buddy of mine hit a stock 400ci GM motor from 1976ish with unknown millage (his motor blew up and this was from a buddies backyard).
His car was back-halved and even in the waterbox the motor couldn't spin the tires.... so he hit the nitrous to heat the tires  Full pass spraying out of the hole on a 200 shot about a dozen times before his new motor was ready.

As for a "stock 350".... it's anyones guess....could be 1 or 1001 passes or more ?

Car craft did a test about 6 years ago with a junkyard 350 iirc. I think it took about 300 hit before a ring land let go!

I have the 290hp 350 which is a step up from that motor and I wouldn't even run nitrous. This motor isn't going to take much abuse at all from nitrous runs. You're spending more money on a nitrous system at this point when you could of bought a forged crank or a decent crank and built an ideal engine to run the nitrous man. Honestly, don't do it. The ring's wont take it. If your transmission isn't up to par it won't take it either.

It won't take much at all. You will end up grenading it.Which is kinda cool too. See how many pieces you can scatter it into.Best if you can get it to drop a valve at RPM.

Ok, so cramming it with a 250 shot is probably not a good move. Can we agree that 100 would be ok?

How much power overall do you think this block itself can take? And how much power can this stock engine overall take on a regular basis?

making that many runs with it--i wouldnt go over 100--we have shot 150 to them stock 350s many times without problems but wouldnt recommend it and thats 1/8 mile--the key is run seperate fuel pump, regulator set 5.5 to 7 lbs. with a in line shutoff switch and be conservative on timing--block will take plenty but pistons and lower end wont
