I'm in the process of replacing the mechanical clutch linkage to a hydraulic system. I have decided to go with a Hydraulic release bearing rather than an external slave cylinder.

Has anyone done this, and if so, which components did you use?
I have been looking at this unit:

Thanks,:beers:

Bruce,

Did you end up going with this release bearing from RAM? How did it work out for you?
Yes, its installed but the rest of the car is not finished yet. So I can't comment on how it works.
I paired it with a 3/4" diameter willwood Master cylinder.

I don't think its the best designed part. The bleed port is not at the top, so it might be trouble to bleed. I had to also buy the bleed kit, otherwise it would have been hell trying to bleed through the small fork opening in the belhousing.
