I think I currently have a 2 core radiator i think, and my car is running way to hot right around 195-215 and some time it peaks at nearly 235. What i want to know is, what happens if i but a really big radiotor in the car, some thing like a 5 core nascar aluminum radiator. What can be the draw backs of running some thing that is to big on the car, will the car stilll over heat or will it never get to a proper opperating tempurature.

thanks

Sorry about that, I left out some importent info. It's a 383 stroker, running a conservative 430+ horse power. On top of running a new radiato, i was thinking of a dual oil filter set up with a oil cooler

I agree with 69'er on this one. I have a big block that pushes 575-600HP and I also have Vintage Air with power steering. Hottest it normally gets with my stock four core radiator is about 210 degrees in 100 degree heat.
