First of all sorry for posting in this forum but i need to get my car back on the road.

ok guys i have been having trouble with my trans. I took the slave cylinder off the other day and i didn't think it was leaking. i took it off again today to try and bleed it. lastt time i didn't take the dust boot off. today i did and i noticed that there was a little fluid in the boot and in the "housing" for the slave. Is there supposed to be any fluid at all or is it supposed to by completely dry? Also where can i buy just the slave? i really don't want to buy the whole master. Also is there a trcik to get the slave off the line without the special tool?

I installed a T-56 form a 1996 Camaro in my 69. I purchased the hydraulic assembly for $90 from Sallee Chevrolet in Oregon, they have a web site. I don't think your going to find parts for the assembly. Moreover, I think $90 is reasonable for a new unit, prebled and ready to install.

On my 93 S-10, I paid $40 for a slave from NAPA and had to bleed it myself. The line on it was held in place by a roll pin that locked the line in place. Push that out and gently pull out the line, be nice to the O-ring.

Thanks guys for all your help. i called Napa and they are ordering me one and i should have it tomorrow. i hope this cures my problem.
