found 3 wires ?? they seem to head in the loom to the firewall block the yellow has no cont' to ground but the other two do i'm thinking they were for the wiper and someone put in a new set?? b ut the wipers dont use a green but y/bl/ltbl/prp

No wiper motor installed so good bet that’s where the wires would go.

these will help in identifying wires and unit checkout.

The frayed white wire is for the Points Distributor, you have a HEI with 12 volts. The yellow wire not sure but may be for wiper motor.

I think yellow and white connect to IGN on HEI distributor. They are crimped together.

Yellow goes to starter. It is part of ignition wiring.

The green wire may be for temp sensor.

The flat connectors go to the wiper motor. The one for the points would be tan/white and a material type insulation. Google wiper motor installed and you will find pictures.

found it all three fed to + batt dist they got pulled out fromthe spade connettor when i dug into the wiper moter removal
